Learning and teaching online is the fastest growing segment in the field of education and training worldwide. To enter the virtual learning world, teachers and institutions face new issues and must develop new approaches and skills in order to create successful and empowering learning processes.
The Online Teaching and Learning (OTL) academic certificate program goes beyond use of the technological tools to delve deeply into the pedagogy of online teaching and learning and building learning communities therein. Delivered completely online, the OTL program allows you to learn online teaching skills, and then practice your skills as you develop your own effective online courses.
You will engage with exciting and committed co-learners including community college faculty, four-year university faculty, military trainers/faculty, corporate trainers, nonprofit learning facilitators and K-12 teachers, as well as with Fielding's experienced faculty.
