The Office of Student Life and Thriving’s website is now available for students and the Fielding community.
The website programs and initiatives support students in their doctoral, Master’s, certificate, and post-doctoral scholarship and practice. The overarching goal is to ensure students are thriving and not just surviving.
The Office of Student Life and Thriving’s work and ethic of care is centered on the following pillars:
- Community: Assisting students in developing support networks and communities of care through programs and initiatives designed to build pathways to connection.
- Wellbeing: Intentionally providing opportunities to connect to avenues for collective wellness, through creating spaces to recenter, understand needs, and navigate balance for overall success.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Connecting to university JEDI initiatives, Student Life and Thriving advocates for students to connect around identity while also having a strong commitment to create university-wide inclusive environments.
- Scholarship: Spotlighting student work to foster and nourish intellectual development by creating intentional spaces to highlight student research, writing and creativity.
- Support: Providing a bridge to resources along the educational journey through assisting with writing, advising, connection to additional assistance, and advocacy.
This website lets students connect with their program advisors and writing coaches, access university-wide event information, review pertinent dates and deadlines, view student and alumni groups, schedule a meeting with Associate Provost for Student Life and Thriving Dr. Lenzy, and more. More resources will be added on a revolving basis to address the most pressing needs of Fielding’s students.
