On Monday, September 26, 2022, Fielding Graduate University's Evidence Based Coaching Program was recognized as having met GSAEC’s Academic Standards for Graduate-Level Educational Programs in Professional Coaching. The Graduate School Alliance of Education in Coaching (GSAEC) is an association of institutional, individual and student members dedicated to strengthening and promoting the discipline and practice of coaching through excellence in graduate-level coach education and research. Students who graduated from Fielding's Evidence Based Coaching program on or after September 2021 can apply to GSAEC to receive the GSEC coaching credential as a Graduate School Educated Coach. Fielding alum Laura Sherwood, Ph.D. (HOD ’21), is a conference mentor for the upcoming “30 Years of Photovoice: Past, Present Future” Virtual Conference from Oct. 20-22, 2022. Dr. Sherwood will help mentees with Photovoice Theory vs. Practice in a 50-minute session. The conference consists of three days of presentations, networking, and workshops.  Laura Sherwood, Ph.D. Dr. Sherwood graduated from Fielding in 2021 with a Ph.D. in Human Development. Tentoni Outstanding Professional Development Program Award.
