Taylor Excellence in Scholarship Award. The award will be made annually to student or alumni recipients whose research and/or writing exemplifies the concern with education, leadership, and democracy that characterized the career of Dr. Orlando L. Taylor, for whom the scholarship is named. The award will recognize a student or alum whose work appeared in a peer-reviewed publication in the previous calendar year or was presented at a professional conference in the previous calendar year.
