In addition, the ISI is accepting applications for its ISI Fellows for 2023-2024. The Institute for Social Innovation (ISI) supports research, professional development, and organizational consulting projects that build human capital and sustainable change. The ISI Fellows Program offers Fielding alumni an academic partner to continue their professional work, apply for external funding, and publicize their projects. ISI Fellows agree to use their title (Fellow, Institute for Social Innovation, Fielding Graduate University) on publications, professional presentations, and in other situations associated with their projects.

ISI Fellows have one-year appointments with renewal contingent on progress and future plans. Fielding supports Fellows by providing University business cards, ISI letterhead, access to the Fielding Institutional Review Board (IRB), access to Fielding technology and library resources, use of the ISI Fellows Forum in myFielding (a place to exchange ideas and research opportunities), and consultative assistance from ISI staff. Fellows are invited to share project outcomes with the Fielding community at sessions, clusters, or through online presentations.

“Fielding alums have a hunger for scholarship and life-long learning that is supported by the Institute for Social Innovation (ISI),” said Charles McClintock, Director of the Institute for Social Innovation. “For those who want to conduct and publish research, ISI facilitates IRB review and the search for external funding. In another ISI area, several alums have successfully offered professional development and training through their consulting businesses that resulted in a Fielding certificate and continuing education units.”
