May has been a busy 50th Anniversary celebration month for the Fielding community! On May 1, 2024, President Katrina S. Rogers, PhD, hosted a delegation from Keystone Group (Shanghai), Inc., at the historic Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. The delegation was led by Fielding alum and Keystone’s Board Chair Emeritus Marjorie Woo, Ph.D., Board Chair Amanda Shang, and Board Member Yin Tian Ran, Ph.D. Together, they signed a memorandum of understanding to affirm their ongoing partnership. Two alums have been awarded the prestigious Dianne Kipnes Social Innovation Award for their scholarship and practice. Wanda Whiteside, Ed.D. (Leadership for Change, ‘23) and Kathy Bell, Ph.D. (Human Development, ‘23) will advance their work in their respective fields in 2024-2026.  Dr. Whiteside is the founder and Artistic Producing Director of Live Garra Theatre in Montgomery County, Maryland. Perry Reed, Ph.D. Visiting scholar Perry Reed, Ph.D., has joined Fielding's Media Psychology Research Group. Dr. Reed is a media psychologist driven to help people and organizations leverage media and technology effectively. He earned his MA and PhD in media psychology from Fielding Graduate University, conducting his dissertation research on the intersections of artificial intelligence, human creativity, and the science of storytelling.
