The Fielding coalition was led by Dr. Barbara Mink, Program Director in the School of Leadership Studies (SLS), and Dr. Ed Leach, SLS Associate Faculty Member and Executive Director of the National Insititute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD). Two alums have been awarded the prestigious Dianne Kipnes Social Innovation Award for their scholarship and practice. Wanda Whiteside, Ed.D. (Leadership for Change, ‘23) and Kathy Bell, Ph.D. (Human Development, ‘23) will advance their work in their respective fields in 2024-2026.  Dr. Whiteside is the founder and Artistic Producing Director of Live Garra Theatre in Montgomery County, Maryland. On January 9th, 2023 Four Arrows had his 44,000 word article about decolonizing Western psychology published in The Review of General Psychology, a Q1 ranked journal published by the APA with a 2022 impact factor of 4.5. Fielding's EdD in Leadership for Change Program Director Dr. Barbara Mink was chosen to be the Graduation Speaker at the graduation of over 3,700 graduates from the Austin Community College District (ACC).
