On April 6, Nathan presented on Black men’s resilience in the face of community and sexual violence, exploring the adaptive function of Black Rage through a psychoanalytic lens. His insights encourage deeper reflection on healing, empowerment, and clinical innovation within marginalized communities.

Earlier in the week, on April 3, 2025, and on behalf of Fielding’s Qualitative Research Lab, Nathan also presented a research poster examining Black students’ experiences with racial battle fatigue, with a particular focus on embodiment and how trauma is held in the body.

We’re so proud to support his journey and celebrate the impact he’s making in the field of Clinical Psychology.
