Connie is a globally recognized executive educator, writer, and coach who guides leaders and their teams to make positive lasting change for themselves and their organizations.

Connie has coached over 1,500 executives over the past 20 years. In her coaching relationships, she serves as an expert guide and accountability partner who brings a proven approach for making and sustaining meaningful change. Connie’s clients appreciate her unique ability to ask powerful questions, listen intently to their answers, and structure their seemingly random thoughts into compelling insights that forward action and deepen learning.

Participants in Connie’s speeches and courses describe her as an engaging and thought-provoking educator who teaches at the intersection of theory, research, and practice. She prides herself on meeting adult learners where they are and challenging them to immediately apply their learnings. Connie was recognized as a Favorite Professor for her tireless dedication to teaching executive and global executive MBAs at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. She currently serves on the faculties of the University of Virginia and Fielding Graduate University.

Connie holds a doctorate in human and organizational learning from George Washington University, an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. She also earned a Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance certificate from George Mason University. She is certified in the Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks 360 leadership assessment and the Six Team Conditions Team Diagnostic Survey™. The International Coaching Federation recognizes her as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Max Palomeque is an accomplished executive coach with over 2,200 hours of practical coaching and facilitation experience. Utilizing methodologies based in behavioral science, Max helps clients understand the science behind how and why people think, feel, and behave the ways they do.

Experienced in multiple domains including emotional and social intelligence, decision-making, problem-solving, personality constructs, communication, influence, conflict management, and more, Max has worked with over 80 unique teams and 450 leaders engaged in real world high-stakes problem solving. Past clients include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of State, the Department of Defense, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Rockefeller Capital Management, and Mas’panadas.

Max’s experience working in volatile and sensitive environments coupled with his ability to resonate with clients of diverse backgrounds and experiences has made him sought after to work with clients who are resistant or even hostile to coaching and for leaders facing high-stakes challenges.

In addition to his work as a coach and facilitator, Max has extensive experience designing pragmatic curricula and programs to foster leadership development through real-world experiential learning. He is an experienced public speaker having addressed groups at Georgetown University, Strayer University, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Public Defender’s Office, and the National Police Exposition.

Prior to his work as a coach, Max’s experiences included serving as an intelligence officer in the US Air Force and as a special agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University, an MBA from Georgetown University, and is a certified leadership coach by the Georgetown Institute for Transformational Leadership.
