Michael Sessions, Ph.D.

Fielding alumnus Dr. Michael Sessions was promoted to Dean of The College of Physical Sciences and Engineering Brigham Young University – Idaho. In 2023, Dr. Sessions was appointed Associate Dean of Curriculum at Brigham Young University – Idaho (BYU-Idaho). Prior to that, Dr. Sessions served as the department chair of design and construction management at BYU-Idaho, where he was instrumental in redesigning the construction management degree and leading the development of the virtual design and construction degree. In his capacity as the Dean of the College of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Dr. Sessions will lead the charge to enhance programs and improve student outcomes. His overarching goal is to assure that students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for successful careers in their respective fields. Dr. Sessions earned his Ph.D. in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University.
