Biography

Dr. Lambert’s research program is broadly focused on risk and protective factors associated with mental health among populations affected by trauma and other adversity, primarily in low- and middle-income countries. She collaborates with non-governmental organizations in several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East to design and carry out studies that inform the implementation of mental health interventions. She has a strong interest in implementation science as an approach for improving the reach, acceptability, and effectiveness of evidence-based interventions for common mental disorders.
