The Climate Family
For many families, Friday Night Family Night is a cherished tradition—a time to pause, connect, and spend quality time together. It’s a moment to step away from the busyness of the week and focus on what matters most- family.

Andrew Sears, doctoral student Clinical Psychology
This tradition is also an opportunity to come together around shared values, which is why we’ve launched The Climate Family. As part of Fielding’s Climate Alliance, this weekly gathering invites you and your family—grandma, mom, dad, sister, aunt, or anyone you consider family—to add a new dimension to your Friday Night Family Night. It’s a chance for families to connect, learn, and take action on climate change, together.
The Climate Family has already begun, and we’d love for your family to join us! Every Friday at 5 p.m. PST | 6 p.m. MST, families come together for a 20-minute session to discuss, share ideas, and explore ways to make a difference. This is a space to bring kids to the table, model leadership for them, and inspire them to be part of the movement for a healthier planet.

We’d love your help in spreading the word about this initiative to the Fielding community and alums. If you know families who might be interested, please share this invitation with them. Let’s come together to create meaningful change, starting with our families. And make talking about climate a habit. And it’s only 20 minutes of your Friday Night Family Night.
Thank you for your support and for being part of this important work.
With hope, Andrew B. Sears
